VISION

A safe space for exploration and personal growth
A bonding experience that creates relationships between women of varied disciplines and experience levels, leading to long-term mentorships and collaborations
Honest conversations that challenge assumptions and generate ideas and solutions
A force for change to close the gender gap in all levels of Boston theatre

MISSION

A quarterly program of seminars and round-table discussions, with an audience of 50-100 people per event.
Focused on female theatre artist but open to artists of other disciplines and genders.
To enhance business and life skills for women artists.
To generate community dialogue about challenges facing women in theatre.
To build relationships between female artists.
To create awareness and movement within the community towards closing the gender gap
To create a sense of community and identity as a female artist in Boston
To raise awareness of the unique yet shared challenges facing women artists, both to these artists and to the larger theatre community
To cultivate relationships between female theatre artists throughout the Boston area
