Ask for What You Need
This Career Lab has been Postponed until the Fall of 2012. New Date and Time TBA.
Sunday, June 3
1-4pm
Union or non, every working theatre artist has the right to voice what they need to stay safe, work well, and be a productive artist. Join working professionals in a panel discussion exploring the real-life challenges of asking for what you need: a safe fight partner, more money, a respectful work environment, the list goes on. From tiny to large, explore ways to pro-actively voice your need for change.
Panelists TBA.
The Where, Who, and How
All Career Labs are held at Boston Center for the Arts. We appreciate your advance registration.
The Career Labs are open to all genders.
Career Labs create a space for connection, skill-building, risk-taking, and education. To make the most of your attendance, bring your business cards or show cards, be ready to actively network, and feel free to hover near a GAN-e-median if you need a more personal introduction to the crowd. We will gladly introduce you to the many brilliant Career Labs attendees.
Zen Update
In an ongoing effort to balance the busy lives of the GAN-e-medians, Career Labs are being simplified. We will no longer be providing munchies and coffee. Please feel free to bring your own snacks as needed. We also appreciate your ability to either register in advance or bring exact change. With your help, we can continue to offer innovative and succesful Career Labs.
